Free, Pro and the trial
What you keep on Free, what Pro adds, how the trial works and where to manage or cancel your subscription.
TaskBerry has two plans. On Free you plan your day without paying anything, for as long as you like. Pro is for when you want Berry to do more of the work, and when you want to track and report your hours per client.
What you keep on Free
Everything you need to plan your day is in Free, with no time limit.
Over daily capacity · 2h too much
Planned 9h / 7h7h left for tasks. Over daily capacity · 2h too much Planned 9h / 7h. Doesn't fit today: Work out the Studio Noord brand and everything below it. Tasks: Rewrite the Hofstede quote (3h), Studio Noord homepage copy (1h 30m), Send the September invoices (30m), Work out the Studio Noord brand (4h).
- Tasks with a size, and the capacity bar that shows whether your day fits.
- Meetings, your end time, a different stop time for today, and Work today? on a day off.
- Moving tasks to your next workday, another day or the backlog.
- 3 labels at a time.
- 3 recurring tasks active at a time.
- 3 brain dumps a month with Berry: you paste or type a list, and Berry suggests tasks from it.
- The Refine button in the input field. On Free it tidies your text without AI: it takes out filler words at the start, picks a label if you haven't chosen one yourself and exactly one label's name is in your text, and gives the task a size if you haven't chosen one yourself and you typed a duration.
What Pro adds
Berry doing more for you. Berry's own page, where you talk to Berry about your work. Brain dumps without Free's monthly limit. Refine with AI, which turns a messy line into a clear task. And a checklist that Berry writes for a task.
Your hours and your clients. Work sessions, to track time per client. Reports on your hours, and the report you send your client. Projects, to keep the tasks for one job together. And meetings you book to a client, so they count towards that client's hours.
A planner that fits how you work. As many labels as you like. Your own hours and end time for each weekday. Set working days per label. And searching back through all your completed tasks.
Pro costs €9.95/month, incl. 21% VAT. Prefer to pay yearly? You pay €99 a year, in one go.
The trial
A new account starts on Pro, so you can try everything. Try TaskBerry free for 14 days, no card needed.
When the trial runs out, your account moves to Free. Not straight away: TaskBerry waits another two days, and Pro keeps working during that time. After that, your account is on Free within a day. Nothing is charged, because you never gave any payment details.
You can also take out Pro during the trial, with Keep Pro on the prices page. Choose monthly and you keep the trial days you have left: your first payment is on the day the trial would have ended, and never sooner than two days after you buy. Choose yearly and you pay for the full year straight away, and the trial stops.
Want Pro after the trial has ended? Take out a monthly or yearly subscription from your account. With monthly, your first payment comes two days after you buy.
What happens when you move to Free
After the trial, or after you cancel, your account moves to Free. TaskBerry deletes nothing when that happens: the switch only changes your plan.
- Your tasks, labels, projects and hours are all kept.
- If you have more labels than Free allows, you keep them. You can make a new one once you're below 3.
- Your recurring tasks keep running. Only the ones switched on count towards Free's limit. You can make a new one, or switch an old one back on, once fewer than 3 are active.
- What belongs to Pro, such as Berry's page, your reports and your projects, opens again as soon as you take Pro.
Managing or cancelling your subscription
Go to Account. Under Plan you can see which plan you're on.
- On Free you'll find View upgrade options there. It takes you to the prices, where you pick Pro.
- With a subscription you'll find Manage subscription there. It opens Stripe's billing portal, where you manage or cancel your subscription. Once you cancel, your account moves to Free.
